MKII Vantage for Epaulet
I'll start this post with a disclaimer: by the time I had a chance to write about the watch that inspired this post, it was sold out. I decided it was worth writing about anyway, since it is a beautiful watch by an interesting brand, being sold at a fantastic store. That watch, of course, is the MKII Vantage for Epaulet. The now discontinued and sold out MKII Vantage is an homage to the timeless Rolex Explorer. There is a fairly thorough history of the Rolex here, but to briefly summarize the Explorer was designed to commemorate the Everest expedition by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Hello, I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.Could anyone give me info on a Brandt and frereKey wind pocket watch. He said it is a 16s, silver hunter case, 15 jewel.The dial has black Roman numerals and sub seconds dial.It's runs good and is in excellent condition.I can't find any info on a key wind model. CouldSomebody give me a ball park value of what itIs usually goes for. Any info would be great!!

I need a watch!!....Seriously I need a constantly bright one for work/play. I've heard much about tritium vials?? I've never seen one with them in the flesh though.A mate of mine has a Lum Tec with an all lume face which he raves about but does anyone have any advice ....Thanks

Silly vacation thread!
I just realized that after 6 months of the Hamilton forum, I am talked out. I can't think of a single sensible thing to write about. (Of course the "regulars" here might have realized this 5 months ago.)When I hit a wall, so-to-speak, I get silly. But before I do, I thought I would give the members a chance to beat me to the silliness. Gentlemen, the forum is yours. . . . . . . Let the silliness begin.(BTW, I am about to hit the road on vacation so I may not have internet access until after the 12th of July. And then again, I may.)

Oils
Need some help with oils. There are 5 different oils needed for servicing a 3135. I see that Moebius will come to over $100. Are there alternative synthetics that are just as reliable at a lower cost? I plan on attempting a full service on My LV in the next couple of months. I have faith in myself. Thanks in advance TRF!
