Omega 422.98.41.50.05.001 wrist watches news:
Last week Jack wrote about the new Piaget Emperador Coussin XL 700P, Piaget’s major new release at SIHH 2016. In addition to this crazy skeletonized hybrid electromechanical watch, Piaget released some major women’s watches as well. The brand is actually better-known for its women’s watches and made a name for its high jewelry watches starting in the 1960s (see my article on Piaget cuff watches). For SIHH this year, Piaget released the Limelight Stella with moon phase, which is the most complicated in-house-designed women’s watch ever made in the brand’s history. 1 OF 9 The Limelight Stella features a new caliber 584P that Piaget tells us is entirely designed and made completely in-house, with another caliber (580P) designed for the haute joaillerie version that does not have center seconds, in order to show off the diamond-setting. The automatic winding movement has a 42-hour power reserve, minutes, hours, center seconds, and the moon-phase
Of course, it depends upon the accuracy of the Kello app that I use on my iPhone to determine frequency and accuracy, but my 48 year old Benrus is now running only 7.6 seconds a day slow. That's what, a minute a week? I think that is pretty decent for something as old as me{The app seems roughly accurate. I noticed that my Gruen was losing minutes every hour. Kello confirmed that in fact it was almost 4 minutes slow and hour and I used it to adjust the timing. It now gaining roughly a minute a day}
I was so happy to finally find this watch in a yellow dial. Now after two years it stops working. This is my first Citizen watch and I was delighted to give it a try. Not too keen on Citizen now. I love automatic watches because I don't like having batteries replaced and waterproof seals broken but maybe I should just by quartz now. Anything "normally" go wrong with these watches that I need to know about? Normal use, every day. Nothing catastrophic happened to it either. . .
This is an interesting report. Naturally, with all internet postings you never know what's true. But I find this credible.ripoffreport/reports/...Off0316043.htm
Thanks for your welcome aboard greetings in advance.Just was wondering if there were any Doxa & other divewatch fans here, and so hello to you all. TD
