Omega 431.63.41.21.02.001 wrist watches news:
I've started on my automatic watch collection with an heirloom 1970 Bulova Sea King given to me by a relative. Up till now I've been wearing any number of quartz watches, which have been nice but I never did like relying on a battery. I think now I'd like to buy a new automatic, but I'd like some help down-selecting.I've done a bunch of reading and looking at photos and came up with the following:Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Small SecondVictorinox AllianceHamilton Intra-matic, the 38mm oneSeiko SARB017Seiko SARW010I'm actually not a fan of these bigger watches made nowadays. I looked at the Tissot Visodate but it looks even bigger on the wrist than the Jazzmaster, and I figured if I was going to consider something that size I'd want it to be with a dial I liked. I like the Jazzmaster Maestro numerical dial very much. I picked the Victorinox as an alternate. I picked the Intra-matic because it's so elegant looking and it's 38mm. The SARB017 seems to be considered a "must-have" by a lot o
I was just introducing myself as a n00b to PAM couple of threads below while I was still deciding between PAM98 & PAM184. Ultimately, the decision was just made and I am happy that I will be buying LNIB 98 from a fellow watch collector. Interesting part is, that we know each other for a quite a while from several other watch sites, and it feels that we know each other for a while....and now finally, we crossed our paths this way. What a perfect way to buy a watch from a fellow watch enthusiast !;)Here is the beauty (not my pictures yet)....It will be here on THU and I cannot wait !!! Also, BIG THANKS to Viken - India Whiskey Charlie for essentially finding this watch for meand connecting me with a super nice seller !!
My wrist is about 7.5. It takes the very last hole on the band to fit my wrist. So when I close the deployment, the watch is centered on my wrist but the deployment is not centeredIf my wrist were smaller, then the deployment would be centered where it should be.Any suggestions on how to make it comfy instead of digging into my wrist? Do I need to simply replace it? Might the band itself be too small? I dont mind spending to get a very comfy fit
Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting the AP 26400 in steel with a ceramic bezel. I would appreciate any thoughts on owning the watch/appropriate price to purchase a preowned one. Thanks!
Will get a PAM380 at the end of the month, will most likely wear it on OEM JV, please please post pics of your PAM380s...
