- Use it every day. Quality - there is no substitute for quality, and this watch has it every bit. Might not be up-to-the-minute fashion, but I don't need it for that.

Invicta 12990 wrist watches news:
In the 1980s, this watch could be seen on the wrist of famous people like Russia's former president Mikhail Gorbachev and actor Robert Wagner. A few years later, Burberry started using ambassadors more prominently and people like Cindy Crawford, Martina Hingis, Pierce Brosnan and Anna Kournikova have been repeatedly pictured in the Burberry catalogs wearing Constellation watches.
Today we have in for review the Disk by Orient, a fun and youthful watch with unique design elements that help it really stand out. The Disk makes use of some simple, but clever functionality on the dial to impressive effect, while maintaining a simple, sleek aesthetic. It further differentiates itself from other watches with a similar design aesthetic by being an automatic. More often than not, especially at the sub-$250 price point, watches like the Disk are quartz and marketed squarely at a non-watch enthusiast market.? Not the case with the Disk. So, for the more discerning buyer, how does the Disk stand up?Case: Steel with IP coatingMovement: ORIENT caliber 48743 automaticDial: BlackLume: NoLens: MineralStrap: Steel with IP coatingWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 41.4x47mmThickness: 11.3 mmLug Width: 22mmWarranty: 1 year International GuaranteePrice: $340 or $238 (30% off) with coupon code "wornandwound"DialThe Orient Disk features a rather unique and effective implementation of a sandw
In the past 4 days I have seen something I have never seen before. Two automatic watches that have sweep hands that jump. This not the stutter you get with Miyota movements. This is a long pause (One was approx. 2 seconds and the other was about 4 seconds) then the sweep hand jumps. It was very consistent as though it was supposed to run like that, it didn't run smooth and then stutter. One was a womans Tag and the other was a watch I saw in a watch store, a brand I have never heard of before but it was $450.00 so it wasn't cheap. Is this something that is normal? Is it a feature that some automatics have that I have never heard of? Or are these quartz watches that have a battery saving feature (again, something I have never heard of) and the 2 people I spoke to about these watches didn't know what they were talking about? If I am missing out on something, please educate me. I am very curious to hear back on this.

I'm a college student on a budget thinking of buying one since i love the look and the price is relatively inexpensive. What can you tell me to persuade me either way? Are there other similar watches I should look at? thanks! -Jordan M.
