Audemars Piguet 67601BA.ZZ.D012CR.03 wrist watches news:
Most of my automatics are 28'800bph = 8bps/4Hz.Does the second hand move every beat, or does it take a whole turn to move the second hand?
When I was a teenager I liked black watches. However one time I saw a PVD black coated watch after some time of use and noticed that the coating had worn through showing in most edges the silver color of the metal. The other surfaces showed a greyish color coating indicating the wearing off of the black. While some people like watches with some wear on them, I prefer them in a pristine condition and that view kind of turned me off the black watch model, meaning I was not interested in black coated PVD/DLC watches at all, in fact I would not even consider looking at them. That changed a few days ago when another WIS offered a PVD black coated watch in trade for a watch I was selling/trading. It is not that I changed my mind overnight, but the watch was a Stargate and I jad just gotten the steel model Stargate and really liked it. I thought that I would check out the black PVD version because it looked pretty good. I got the watch in record time and when I received it I actually deci
I live in Manhattan, and I notice that there are a number of other members from NY and New Jersey here. Can anyone recommend any good/interesting sellers of vintage watches (or other places of interest to watch collectors) in the NY metropolitan area? Thanks!Susan
I bought 2 watches in July - a Sekonda and an Invicta.I think I may have been a bit hasty with the Invicta. It's just not singing to me, know what I mean? I've tried hard to love it but I have decided to return it.Instead I have decided to buy a Luminox EVO Navy Seal 3059 (orange numbers).I think I may have a preference for black dialled watches. If that is the case, I'm going to have to seriously think about the Aqua Terra I like!!
I'm looking to switch up from a ROO for my chrono beater and noticed pricing on used 5980's are pretty good for the steel models. I really like the blue dial and the slate dial (almost like this one more because of the black date wheel). Wondering what thoughts on the forum are for this....Back in 2012 I wasn't a fan of this piece and picked up a 15202 and 5712 instead....I just thought it was too fat and thick for a proper Nautilus. But a coworker got one and I'm interested in what the thoughts are on it now that it's no longer in production but really easy to find.
