- The watch was very pretty. It looked the same as it did on tv. However,. it was way to tight/ for my wrist and I do not have a wrist! Needless to say I sent it back.

When I reviewed the Melbourne Flinders some time ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the subtleties of the design and quality manufacturing. So, I was very excited last summer when they announced they were coming out with the Portsea, a playful variation on the Marine Chronometer style. I wasn't the only one either, as their Kickstarter campaign for the watch raised just over $100k, nearly triple what they had asked for. What struck me about the Portsea is that it wasn't just another Marine watch, it really took the concept into a unique direction and used a cool movement, the Miyota 9120. The dial they came up with, which I'll dig into below, has an ingenious design, adding depth and texture where it is usually absent. All in all, a striking watch… but also one that comes in at a fairly modest price of about $615 (fluctuates with c
Thought I was only going to collect one example of each caliber from Omega's automatic offerings from the 60's..until my second 564 came along inside the 168.015 to go with the 168.005. IMO, this makes a nice combination of Constellations - one pie pan, one dome dial; one solid gold, one stainless steel; one screw back, one front loader:
Hi guys,New to the board. Was offered this Calatrava in a trade for another watch I have in possession. Not a big fan of Patek but have been looking for a nice understated watch to wear regularly.Just wanted to see if you guys could tell me if it's authentic or not, worth and year, if it is real. Thanks a lot guys, you guys seem to be a real helpful bunch. $_20-2.JPG$_20-1.JPG$_20-3.JPG$_20-4.JPG$_20-5.JPG

when you first start noticing the "desk swirls" on the bottom of the band of a new watch?I noticed the first inklings of them on the little logo clasp of my Orient yesterday. Naturally I was devastated.
