Omega 123.25.24.60.52.001 wrist watches news:
Luxury Watch Brand Status3 years ago, I purchased a Longines Hydroconquest Automatic with the black aluminum bezel. In that time, I have been fortunate enough to receive or acquire many other watches: A Tag Heuer Link Quartz Chronograph (too many Bourne movies), an Oris TT1, my father's Omega Deville or Rolex Date, my grandfather's Elgin, my mother's refinished Hamilton Electric, some Seiko Divers, a Movado Museum Automatic, An EBEL Brasilia Automatic (which I still have), a Baume et Mercier Capeland S Automatic Chronograph, a Raymond Weil Parsifal Automatic (which I quickly sold), and a Breitling Colt Automatic. Given that I have owned the above brands and I have handled many others Swiss watch luxury brands for limited periods-specifically Paneria, Zenith, Patek Phillipe, Cartier, Breguet, IWC, JLC, Grand Seiko, Hamilton, Tissot, and Mido. I thought it would be fun to compare the various luxury Brands.I looked to the usual places: This site, the Rolex Forums, A Blog to Read, Chron
Which one do you prefer? are there people in the website who own both sizes for the Luminor?I notice that the 44 ae x50 more popular than the 40mm.
From the corporate website:Manufacture Ulysse Nardin remains independentThe Manufacture Ulysse Nardin SA, with manufacturing plants in Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds and its own distribution subsidiaries in the US, Russia, Germany (EC), Italy, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, has not been sold and remains one of the few independent watch manufacturers in Switzerland.
Got this event invite from Chase: .insideaccess/EventDetails/1572In case anyone in Houston is looking for something to do on the afternoon/evening of July 16th (and has $200 to spare).... I will not be there, but passing along the info to anyone that might be interested.
Very proud to say that I have my first Rolex :)It's been an odd journey to get me here. I spent years not caring for the brand at all, there wasn't a single piece that stuck out for me. The height of my collection has been around Omegas and Tags. Maybe once I became a little older and wiser, I started appreciated some models, specifically the Datejust 41 and BLNR. As time went on I started to like them even more, the beautiful subtleness of the DJ41, the detail and quality of the Oyster bracelet, the statement that is the bezel of the BLNR. It all just started to make sense why the brand is so highly regarded.I made the decision to go with the DJ41, Black, Smooth Bezel with Oyster. That configuration gives me exactly what I'm looking for in a watch at the moment. An all rounder, to be worn in and out of work, smart or casual. Anyway enough of my rambling! Here are some pics :)
