Omega 413.25.27.60.05.001 wrist watches news:
To be perfectly honest it is hard to write about a $35 watch after you have been writing about $35,000 watches. On the one hand, it is hard to be fair to the $35 watch, and on the other hand it is hard to make a case to the $35 watch market for a $35,000 watch that itself may just tell the time. In writing this review I needed to metaphorically step back a few paces and review the Timex Classic Camper as though it were in a vacuum. I actually like the watch for what it is - a dead simply, sort of retro themed, basic timepiece. No frills, nothing fancy, and easily disposable if need be. Cheap, not very big, and a watch. Exactly what you need many circumstances. See what I mean?See my Timex Classic Camper watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here. This post is in regards to the individual who happened to be wearing a Breitling rather than about the brand itself. Nothing against the brand. Walks into a jewelry counter and gets assistance. He asks the clerk what high-end watches he has. He replies: Well, we have some Rolex(es) - Breitling fan replies: Nah. I don't like those. Rolex is junk - They have to under $2,000.You go buy your Breitling, buddy...
So I've always been a big fan of the Speedmaster pro, especially the model with the clear caseback. So I was wondering:1. Is that a particular reference number or are there several model numbers with the clear caseback? For example, I've seen in the For Sale section before models labeled 3572.50 and 3573.50 - are there more? Where can I find the differences?2. Are they all manual wind or do they make an automatic version of this?Manual wind movements look to be absolutely beautiful, but I don't know if I could wind it everyday. I like to just put my watch on and wear it 24/7.Thanks for the info and sorry for the newbie questions!
I decided to stop in European Watch Co as I am looking to add a dressier piece into my collection. Everytime I am there the experience gets better. I get greeted by everyone with smiles as I walk in. Josh came right over and remembered my name. We chatted for a bit and I found out Josh had just got back from Geneva (Christy's 175th auction and the other auction). Very cool! You can tell he and everyone there is so passionate about watches. The cool thing is they have something for everyone! From watches under 5k to plenty of pieces north of 50k. All the employees are present and helpful and fun to just talk with. There is no cold sell them on the spot nor snobby atmosphere everyone who loves watches is welcomed with open arms.I happened to run into two buddies I had met at the first BostonRedBar meeting a few weeks ago (Shane ) and found out about the second meeting Tuesday, will be going for sure Anyway, just a fun experience trying on a bunch of great watches and narrowing down the li
