Omega 4374.11.00 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,I'm having big trouble unbuckling the clasp from the hole that it is in now - i would like to change to another strap, but the clasp seems stuck in the hole.Does anyone have a good tip on how to get it loose? We're talking PAM00088, aligator strap, with folding buckle. Thanks
Hi guys, I'm torn between two watches and could use some advice. I can get a full size black dial Portofino for 2100 dollars or a mid size blue dial portofino for the same price, which should I go for?I have a pretty small wrist, around 6' I think. I have a midsize omega seamaster that looks really sleek on me while the full size looked a bit chunkier.I'm in my mid-20's and am looking for something classy, chic and sleek. The portofino series has that old world charm mixed with a modern sophistication which I love. What I'm wondering is which watch dial is more versatile (office, evening wear, sporty, etc). The black dial or dark blue? I have to mention that dark blue is my favorite color and I'm leaning more towards that one personally.
Wanted to share with you some pics of AP complicated watches.Interesting in a way but not up to the level of design of Patek for these kinds of grande complication watches, as much as AP is top notch for their sport watches, it seems to me that Patek blows them out of the water with equivalent pieces.Like a lot their pocket watch though, kind of piece which is really cool to have in a very big collection, or if your name is Johnny Depp, you see him very often with a chain indicating clearly he has a pocket watchEnjoy the pics2890523gross.jpg25996TI_OO_D002CR_02.jpg26356PT_OO_D028CR_01.jpg26353PT_OO_D028CR_01.jpg25712BA_OO_0000xx_01.jpg
I've been quoted 270$+tx per year to insure my SubC date for full replacement value. I'm hesitating to insure it, or not. That is a very hefty price for only 1 watch... I always have my sub on my wrist, even when I go at the gym.Talking about gym, I went there this afternoon and while riding the bike somebody started using the bike on my left and really started staring at my watch. At this moment I thought again hmmm maybe I should get it insured... I don't want to have to fight for a watch I know that this has been talked about many many times here on TRF. What's your input on this? Keep in mind that I always have my watch on, while working, training, going out with friends, etc... Thanks in advance
So in my travels over the last couple weeks visiting multiple ADĄŻs and listening to their understandably sad stories of lack of stock the inevitable discussion came up of how grey dealers seem to have the hot stainless steel modles in stock at higher than retail prices. Needless to say, especially in the boutiques this put a very bad taste in their mouth. Now one of the managers in one of the boutiques told me that in 2018 Rolex was going to put some type of better system to track their watches. I believe he mentioned a strip on the back of the piece. I donĄŻt know what that really means. However the point was theyĄŻll be trying to find out who has been selling these pieces to the grey dealers and then cut them off. In my opinion, and I shared this with him, I donĄŻt see how you can stop that. However he insisted that he has heard from the top people at Rolex and that is their intentions. What do you guys think? I always thought Rolex loved the grey dealers even if in secret because
