Ok, so I've made a few rough calculations and have figured out that I can start dreaming about watches worth about $4k, with a hope to be able to get one within the next 12 months! I'm happy not buying any other watches in that period, if that'll help me stick to my goal! Any TAG experts? Calibre 16 or Valjoux 7750 in the Carrera?
Hey guys. I'm hoping someone may be able to answer another question! As I understand it, the latest incarnation of the TAG Carrera (CV201x) is available in two versions. The older version has a solid rotor, while the newer version has two holes cut into the rotor. The newer (current) model has TAG's Calibre 16 movement, and I've read that the older version has the Valjoux 7750.I guess what I want to know is, is this accurate? And if I can find the older version with the Valjoux movement for a really good price is it worth considering?Thanks!

Star Wheel. Anyone have one?
My dream watch has always been a Star Wheel. I thought the concept and complication of the triple dials was fantastic. I first saw the watch in a watch trade magazine in the '90s. At the time, I was not in a position to purchase one, now that I am more able, I cannot seem to find one. Does anyone have a line on one? I am not really particular whether it is yellow, white or rose. Thanks, Robert
