- This is a terrific watch. Time is easy to read though date is a little harder. Only caveat -- took the jeweler a while to adjust the band. But maybe that's a good thing.

Hi, everyone. I've spent the last couple months looking for a watch to wear all the time, swimming and dress, with little success. Now I'm focusing just on the swimming portion: don't want to take my watch off when I go swimming, want to know what time it is, how long it took to do a lap, etc. prefer either auto or solar.which models would you swim in? what's the minimum rating you would go? is 200 enough or should I be looking for 300? I can't wear anything bigger than 41mm, and would prefer something like 37 or 38.should it be only from an AD or are some models safe enough to buy grey market and/or used?please only replies from those who have actually worn their watches extensively in the water. Thanks!
Hi guys, here is my dilema I own a 26470OR and love it. But freaked out about wearing it because of fragile bezel, I already have a tiny scar on it and I cannt sleep because of my OCD!! Lol I have an opportunity to swap straight for the 44mm RG 26400RO which with the ceramic bezel I dont have to worry as much. I own a FC 44 as well and love it, so I figured I would keep my 42 and not use it as much. But now that this opportunity popped up my brain is racing!!!! 😬😬😬What would you guys do!!??Here is a pic of my 42And one of the 44 that I grabbed from the internet (please give credit to I believe its Anil Arjandas he has some awesome watches)All suggestions are good suggestions please help a buddy out, I cant concentrate at work!!' Lol I love both by the way!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the first quality watch I ever owned. I bought about 15-20 years agoI bought it BNIB from Ross-Simons for about $1,200-$1,500 ( If I remember correctly) and I still have the grey leather box with a nice white pillow and the white outside box with papers and a Grey leather credit card holder for the plastic warranty card.I just sent in in for a full refurbishment as you can see from the photos it needs a little face lift :). It has always run perfect and has always mainatined very accurate time. I have probably worn it 95% of every day during that timeframe. It has truly been a Dress/casual tool for me.My plan is to use this watch as my dress watch and add either a new GMT ll or a EXP II (white face) as my very day watch. I hope Rolex can match the durability and quality Omega put in this watch !!!My photos aren't the best but I will take quality photos of the new reburbished watch when I get it back (I've been told by Tech Time about 6 weeks)I would welcome any comments reg
So with the new year we¡¯ve seen lots of LVCs, BLNR, skydwellers, Daytona¡¯s and SD43 but I haven¡¯t seen any JC incomings!!Am I missing something? Is it really that hated? Or is it true it¡¯s being discontinued?I love that watch way more than the SD43 and have been trying to get my hands on one after I passed on one a couple of months ago
