Patek Philippe 5101G wrist watches news:
An announcement like this often flies under the radar, until a major watch brands sexes it up with a fancy announcement and by placing it into a new timepiece - but this news is very much worth knowing about. Say hello to what may be a rare oddity or common name in watchmaking in the near future: The Genequand System. It is a new type of balance wheel and escapement system for mechanical watches which promises to lengthen the power reserve of a traditional watch to a month or longer without any changes to the mainspring. That is compared to the 2-3 days of power per single mainspring barrel currently available with most standard mechanical watches. Apparently, it took over 10 years to even get into a working watch movement prototype.Hermes-controlled Vaucher (a Swiss company that produces watch movements) and CSEM (a scientific company dedicated to Swiss micro technology and applied research) worked together in order to produce a working prototype of the Genequand System, which is now
Hey guys, I saw someone wearing a full black (probably ceramic) royal oak offshore today with a leather band. The dial was black too but one or two of the sub dial was gold or was outlined in gold. It looked really amazing but I can't seem to find it online. Does it ring a bell for anyone here? Thanks!

It is a gold case (solid or plated, im not sure) day-date..The face has gold hands with black and glow inlay, the hour markers are gold with black stripes down the center....It does not have the original band.. face is marked.. OmegaAutomaticSeamaster-T Swiss Made T-The number on the inside of the case back is CE 166034 (This is the exact number) , It is 24 jewel And has several other marking on the automatic movement... I have done alot of research and cant find it anywhere but I have found the number referenced here and there with no real answers as to what is is...Any help would be greatfully appreciated, I really would like to know when it was made and what its worth..Thanks in

Hi all,I'm now looking to pick up a 16710 GMT Master 2 in the near future, prob looking to get a post 2002 model. I'm wondering if I get a black GMT and source the pepsi and coke bezels , if the value of this would be less than if got a pepsi or coke GMT instead. What would be the future difference in value?
