I'm inclined towards the Oris but sadly where I come from, Oris is not a known brand. Tag, Omega, Longines, Raymond Weil, Rado etc are well known but not Oris. What do you folks suggest? I need to make up my mind quickly as my wife is in US and she's flying back within 8-9 days and if I am to choose a Tag she'll have to buy it for me as prices of Tag in US are far competitive.

Rough Valuation
After viewing Jockes conversion in the rolex discussions, it got me thinking that I haven't worn this watch for nearly 20 years, I bought it used around 22 years ago and had it serviced about 12 months ago as it wasn't running properly ( not surprising really) the chap who serviced it said it was worth a few hundred pounds, I think I'm going to either sell it or part exchange it for more of a sports watch which I know I'll wear. Would appreciate an idea of valuation or even a model type or No.ThanksPhil

I was strapping my favorite watch - my SD4k - on my wrist this morning, and a little ding on the side of the case caught my eye. I had forgotten about it, as it��s been there for a long time, and it actually brought a smile to my face. Got me thinking of all the places I have traveled, things I have accomplished, and fun I have had while wearing this watch. I banged into a doorframe on the night I proposed to my wife, because I was nervous, which led to that little ding. Great memory of that night! What stories does your watch tell?
