- I like to wear this pendant style watch on my belt loop. I typically wear it when I play golf and I get comments about it. Who would believe I paid less than $10 for it? I can't think of any negatives.

- For the money this was a great deal. Mine only lasted six months before the gold kind of faded and the battery died. I chunked it but still felt like it was well worth the money since I had worn it so frequently and it cost so little.

Hey guys ! ! !Merry Christmas ! ! !My Elgin Weather Station is now complete.Just yesterday my Elgin Barometer arrived ! ! ! ! I've had the Elgin Thermometer for a few years now but this new weather instrument completed my own little Elgin Weather Station. It still has all of the original paperwork too boot ! ! !I am guessing that this was made in the mid - late 1960's but I'm hoping that some Elgin experts from this era can help me narrow the date down by the fonts used in the paperwork perhaps. It was actually made in West Germany, not Elgin, Illinois. It is still in working condition ! ! !It measures about 5 inches going across, the thermometer is about 12 inches going across.I've haven't seen another one of these in the past so I just HAD to own it ! ! !Here is a shot of my vintage Elgin Wall Clock that I picked up about 1.5 years ago, perfect working order ! ! !Measures about 14 inches going across.
I'm collecting my very first Audemars Piguet tomorrow, a Royal Oak Offshore Panda 26170:Comes with the horn back strap and a brand new AP rubber strap.image.jpg
I bought some new straps from AP and their watchmaker was not in the store. Is this something that can easily be done with a flathead screwdriver or is there a special tool needed? Thanks.EDIT: This is for a 44MM Ceramic and Rubberclad.
I've owned several cal 2500 POs and have been wanting to try the new cal 8500. I was lucky to take one in on a trade deal. It just arrived today and here is a quick wrist shot. What do you guys think???
