I've been making a few posts here and there, but I finally got a chance to take some quick photos of my current watch "collection" (or the nicer ones that I wear anyway).Nixon Super Rover SS:I've had this watch for about 5 years now. The crystal is well-protected, and it's been basically bomb-proof, other than a broken pin (which is amazing because the pins are super beefy). I sent it back to Nixon (without any warranty documentation) to be fixed, as the pin was not replaceable. They said they would fix it at a small charge, but ended up sending me a new watch at no cost (I could tell it was new because mine had a few scratches on it. It even survived a 30mph pocket bike crash.Bulova 96G59My girlfriend bought this for me for Christmas a few years ago. Being an engineer, I am normally more of a "tech" style watch fan compared to a dress style, but I love this watch. It's just the right amount of bling without being too flashy for nice events. The face is a good size for me too. The only

Is this something normal for an AD to do?
So, couple of months ago I've put my name down for a BLNR at Melbourne Airport Rolex, today I've received a message saying that they've just got one in stock and asked whether I'm still interested. Although, there's a catch, that is I have to buy an additional watch in order for them to sell me the BLNR. I was never informed about this when I put my name down. So my question is, is this something normal for an AD to do? P/S. I understand that some ADs would only consider existing customers when it comes to the waiting list. But since they've got one in stock and actually messaged me, I just thought it's a little strange.
