Omega 2535.80.00 wrist watches news:
Spring has sprung, and with it new colors are everywhere. Arnold & Son has given us a spring of its own: the La Chaux-de-Fonds brand just introduced three new variations on its renowned UTTE model. Here’s a look at the new hues and materials Arnold & Son has on offer. Arnold & Son created great buzz in 2013 when it launched the UTTE ¨C a name that stands for “Ultra-Thin Tourbillon Escapement.” In fact, you could say that the UTTE was a major part of Arnold’s rise to prominence as a small, high-end Swiss brand. The UTTE movement is something to behold: it’s just 2.97 mm thick. Cased up, the watch is still only 8.34 mm thick. It has a 42-mm-wide case and a dial that leaves plenty of open space so you can admire the workings of its flying tourbillon, which rises above of the dial at 6 o’clock.Until now, the UTTE has only been available with lighter, engraved dials: a guilloch¨¦, for instance, or a wave pattern. I recently acquired a Gallet 30 minute timer/stopwatch at an estate sale that works perfectly. I am seeking any information/insight on this model as I have been unable to pin down the vintage of this stopwatch or its retail market. There is plenty of general and company info on the web but I have found nothing on the specific movement/model I have. I have found one model that is very close but not identical to mine. The Gallet I found was a decimal artillery timer/stopwatch marked Jules Racine & Co. Swiss 7seven jewels unadjusted on spare parts compartment(JXR on balance) No3364 D.R.P.388992 +No100230 on bridge. The information dates it to WWII era. Mine is marked Jules Racine & Co. Swiss 6six jewels 1one adjustment on spare parts compartment (no JXR on balance) No3364 D.R.P.388992 +No100230 on bridge. The dial is (near mint) porcelain enamel, hands are blued (looks to be steel), crystal has a small convex dimple in the center. Is this an earlier vintage or a lower grade varian
I must say, the 15300 has been a fantastic daily driver for me. I wondered if I would worry too much about scratches showing on the fine detailing, but I've learn to just roll with it.Here are a couple of action shots. I got back to work after going home for lunch and realized my son got yogurt all over it. All part of the fun
Can someone explain why when you download owners manual on Patek updated website for 5170, you get the following reference options:5170J-0015170J-0105170J-011The same applies to 5127R or other watches. What are the last 3 digits standing for (001, 010, 011)? Is it definitely not the metal since it is all J.Thanks!
