Jaeger LeCoultre Q183T670 wrist watches news:
Here's my first shot with my homemade light box, inspired by the ebook Macro watch photography by John B. Holbrook. Thank you John!I think it went very well :)
Oris is well known for its tie ins with motor sport, most noticeably the Williams F1 link, along with special series like the RAID and RUF LEs to name but two.Joining this lineup of Motorsport themed watches is the new Artix GT Chrono, an all black number with a distinctive tachymeter scale on the bezel. An unusual touch is the seconds counter - a horizontal redline at the 9 o'clock position, different and I think very cool. Here are some pics from Oris, and their official release notes:The watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement, with chronograph function and date. The two-piece dial, with a matt black dial ring and a Tachymeter scale, is directly assembled in the case with both minute and hour counters, along with applied indexes. An interesting addition is the Oris developed retrograde mechanism, which allows the small seconds to ‘grow’ like the RPM counter in a racing car. The striking multi-piece stainless steel case adds enduring refinement, which catches
I stumbled across a Vandenbroeck & Cie watch the other day on the internet that had an unusual skeleton date display. The mechanics of it are common, but I thought the presentation was interesting. I guess what got me, was the idea of having the numbers all visible, but only the two relevant ones are easy to read. Has anyone else done this? Perhaps in a bit less clumsy way? It's really a shame it's such a mediocre watch, though I may still end up getting one, just because of that cool date display.
helloA friend tells me he can not spend much money right now and he not can get discount on watches Panerai with ETA movement like 000/005/111 and by the contrary there are models that are much more expensive in-house movements that can be achieved with good discounts. It should not be the other way around? Besides there is little offering of Panerai watches with ETA movements
I had the short hand model and it didn't last long here. I never fully connected with it. I am interested in the revised, long hand, blue luminescent hour numeral model. I understand these, and many steel Rolex watches are not so easy to find. I have a local Rolex dealer, AD, who has one. Is finding one indeed somewhat difficult these days? And, is the new model more charming than the one it replaced? Is it a fabulous watch? Any opinions on it are appreciated. Thank you!
