- I recently purchased several of the two toned Anne Klein watches. I was very happy with the quality and price. I know I would of paid more money in a department store. I was also happy with the timely delivery .

Finally tracked down the 18K Seamaster 321 I've been wanting to add:borrowed picturesEvery time I see one of these pop up I drool, so I flipped the Aqua Terra and applied some bonus cash for this purchase. I'm impatiently awaiting it's arrival, and of course the mandatory "Incoming" thread.
Well.. My first attempt at watch tinkering was a success.. kinda It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. It took me a few seconds to figure how to get the movement out of the case. Then after a long period of staring at the movement through a magnifying glass while watching youtube videos on watch mechanics trying to identify what all the doodads and gizmos are, I discovered that although the watch was wound, the balance wheel had jumped out of its drill holes and jammed itself against the pallet fork. I took the movement apart, looked at the holes, took my handy dandy small center punch and lightly tapped the metal around the holes, then used my carborator jet drill bit kit to resize the hole back to original. put everything back together and once I figured out how to mount the balance wheel spring...... VIOLA!! It started to run. Probably the first time this thing has run since the 1970's. I added a few small drops of sewing machine oil to the friction points. cleaned up t
Doesn't anyone collect Wakmanns? I love my Wakmann. It has a day and month window, a date arrow and three stropwatch windows. It measures a nice big 70mm and accuracy that compares well with my Omega.Anyone out there?Art KramerWW II B-26 Bombardier.
I am beginning to find that buying nice watches is becoming addictive, even thought I can only wear one at a time I feel the need to invest again within 12 months of my liquid metal purchase, so my question is if you had 5k in UK pounds or 7.5K USD what would you buy. Looking for something different that will age well like the LM OP.Suggetions....
