Greetings, I have been a fly on the wall for a while watching all of the action as a guest. I am now registgered and have a couple of questions. I have always loved wrist watches and own a Rolex GMT Master II and an early Stainless Omega Seamaster Deville I picked up for $20 at an auction and a 1967 Accutron Astronaut plus a Seiko, Mido and others. NOW.....I am looking to buy an Omega Seamaster Chrono 2599.80 and would like to know if anyone knows if they are going to keep making these without the Co-Axial movement. I hear that movement is great but jacks up the price a bunch. The last questions is as follows......I see many of the folks here on this site ordering their watches on line and receiveng them in the mail. I would assume they save a considerable amount of money doing this. Where is it safe to order a REAL Omega without fear of getting a fake unit. And where do these watches get serviced. Sorry I was so long but I had to ask.Corny

Buying online vs in person.
So after drooling over tons of different websites for different brands, I've found that once I see a watch in person that I'd been considering it looses some of it's appeal. And while in the store, I'll see something next to it that looked terrible online but looks amazing in person. I'm not saying this is always the case, but it seems to happen enough that I feel like there's no longer any point to shopping online.Has anyone else experienced this?

Rolex AD prices on Datejust 41 Singapore - negotiable?
Howdy all,My journey continues to get an AD (NIB) DateJust 41 126334 (w/Jubilee). I have talked to AD in Australia and (with crossed arms) - We do not discount Sir ok I get it...Travelling to Singapore in November and, although the list Singapore price is more expensive taking in account Exchange rate (excl taxes), I would like to get your expert advice on how negotiable prices are in Singapore. Hoping I can haggle hard and pick one up from an AD with all the goodness that brings. I need to work the numbers with forex $ etc obviously before making a final decision.It will be my one and only Rolex so don't really care about a special relationship with my local (no discount) AD. Couple of other questions if I may:Does cash work as a lever or not matter. Do they try to add a surcharge for AMEX purchases?Thanks all :-)S.
