Ulysse Nardin 136-91fc/HEART V2 wrist watches news:
Not too long ago I was told by my AD that Omega was opening a new repair center in Miami, and eventually planned to close the NJ center. While I'm sure it's not the only reason, one of the reasons told was the reputation NJ's center had with many customers, and it's not a good one. Having a center in a different city was easier to fix the issue than trying to convince people who've had a bad experience in NJ things have changed. The Miami center is now listed on Omega's website. Not sure if the reasons it was created are factually correct, but it certainly makes sense. The NJ repair center treated me so poorly I dumped all my Omega's for awhile. So I'm certainly encouraged to see this. This new center is supposed to be cutting edge technology too, so another plus. If the reasons are at least partly true I commend Omega for dealing with the problem, even a bit late. Even if NJ stays at least we have a 2nd option to try for Omega-direct service in the US short of mailing a watch ov
Hi, folks. I am new to the forum, old at lusting after Rolex watches.Just wondering if there is any lume for the date under the cyclops window of a GMT Master II(c)? I've never seen a date in the "dark" pictures folks have posted, but I've also never seen a GMT in person. Thanks for any help.Arthur
Omega man George Clooney is holding his sponsors' feet to the fire. He wants the brand - which is the official timekeeper of the China Olympics - to scold and prod the Communist regime into helping poor people in Sudan, which provides the Asian giant with oil.Good luck. Sounds to me like Clooney is looney.
For 13 years I've worn a TT sub. Before that I had a GMT II. This week I added to my one watch collection with an Omega GMT. Only time will tell if it holds up, but here are my initial thoughts.Sword hands and oversized number markers: As elegant as the mercedes hands are these are so incredibly visible and the lume on this face is the as good as it gets. I think Rolex are trying to improve on lowlight visibility with the new maxi dial. The markers are painted directly onto the face, but I don't mind that at, all as it suites the overall design very well. Personally, I like the more subtle GMT hand over the Rolex.Dial: Semi gloss with a wave pattern. Not as nice as the Rolex deep gloss dial, but pleasant never-the-less.Caliber: I hear very good things about the Omega 1120, but I'll be surprised if it matches the consistency of the 3135. In the three days I've had it, it has gained three seconds and then lost them again. So far, so good.Bracelet: The Speedy bracelet is very solid. No ho
