Omega 145.020 wrist watches news:
I could really use a few inside points on this decision. I have put both on and and become unexpectedly more indecisive. THey are both fine watches, so win win, but:The Chrono (Black), probably my favorite with looks. Amazing time piece with a trusted movement. The Seamaster Pro (Black) includes the new co-axial, which is a major decision point. It also has a look that might be better suited to more environments: office, sport, dinners, etc. So because it has come down to the fine details, I hope you all can chime in, perhaps with different perspectives that I may not be considering. All thoughts and opinions wanted. Additionally, and not to complicate, I have also thought of tossing both choices aside for a brand new old stock (AD) US Special Edition (Silver) where only 1k were made. These special editions do not seem to gain value from what I can tell, but marked at 2k (originally 4.5k) perhaps it is worthy of more serious consideration.
Today I was visiting my rolex AD and I ran accross something I didn't know existed. A V serial Submmariner, Black Maxi Dial and factory Black Bezel.Th AD said they just received it and he had not even noticed. Seemed just as puzzled as I was.I was not aware they made such a model. Has any one else seen it?I have it on hold as I am thinking it might be on the rare side.Any opinions?
The Audemars Piquet section of these forums is stacked heavily towards the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore models. I'm also a big fan of the Royal Oak watches (and have a 15400).My other AP, which I just got locally used (price too low to refuse), is an Edward Piguet in stainless steel (15015ST-0-0001VS-01). I estimate from the serial number (E-12xxx) that this watch was produced sometime in 1999.So, let's see some photos of your non-Royal Oak AP's!
I just bought a nice near mint 3570.50 speedmaster after a long hunt. I love the look and history of the watch and want a nice vintage example someday but this model is only 4 years old and is a faithful interpretation of the original so it will scratch that itch until I'm ready to dive into the deep end and spend the money for a nice vintage example. The only thing that bugs me about the watch is that winding it seems difficult because there is not much crown to grab onto what with the slight recess in the case. Has this bothered anyone else?
I got a giant scratch on my Speedy, no idea where or when it happened.Does anyone know where to buy Polywatch in Canada? I found one source, Amazon.ca but they want $24 plus shipping for it. It should sell for around $6or $7. Does anyone have a spare tube to sell?
