Omega cal. 552 wrist watches news:
Hi folks,I'm a newcomer to horology; purely for appreciation and collection purposes.I wanted to know what is the appeal of arrowhead "connies?" What makes them rare, highly desirable and much sought after? Thanks.
now that the London games are over did Omega do enough to successfully advance the brand with this opportunity?I only saw one commercial "Start me Up", were there any other ads on TV ? It seemed like Omega was trying to keep a low profile vs the Beijing games as far as promotion, I'm assuming it was the strategy..diver88
Imagine going to buy a new watch strap at your local jeweler and this happens...Rolex Panerai 3646 Kampfschwimmer the first of its kind. Better pictures added
I am looking at a vintage Speedmaster Triple Date (10 year old watch). The seller has good references as being trustworthy and says the watch is keeping good time and everything functions as it should. No signs of corrosion on the case but the hands have some corrosion. He does not have any photos of the mechanism.Should I be worried about water damage or should I buy the watch and just get new a new handset from Ofrei if it bugs me? Your thoughts are appreciated.
My 2 week old 5205g has been scratched. I have no idea how it happened!Since this is my first Patek, this has lead me to wonder about some of the aspects of servicing. My AP, for example, I can service it within two years regardless if it is broken or not, and they did mine for free. They also polished the case in the process.Does service work the same way with Patek? Thanks in advance!
