Omega Omega 47953 wrist watches news:
This is the tenth Opus collection watch from Harry Winston since 2001.It is deviously complicated to explain what it does or how it works. Just looking at the? Opus X watch makes it seems like a simple matter of having various dials for various pieces of information. What you wouldn't understand is that the entire dial is moving, while the entire dial is moving. Harry Winston calls it a "planetary system." Aside from that the white gold case is pretty sweet, and the overall look, while technical, has a certain pleasantness to it. Don't you agree?See my article on the Harry Winston Opus X watch at Haute Living here. A mechanical watch depends on it's mainspring to power the movement. Few watch makers even manufactures their own mainspring. Seiko is one.Seiko¡¯s mainspring that powers the Grand Seiko, Spring Drives, Premier, Prospex, Spirit and possibly other JDM models is SPRON510. For general comparison, ETA¡¯s Nivaflex have a power reserve of 40 hrs while the standard Seiko Spron510¡¯s power reserve is 50 hrs.SPRON510 used since 2005 is a unique alloy hairspring that is more elastic and is non-magnetic and heat resistant. Ok I was doing some researching and discovered anatomic watches. Pretty neat I'm thinking to myself, then I read they work of radio signals of time, ok even cooler. My questions is, how does it know when it gets into a new timezone, and then do the hands then automatically adjust themselves to the "correct" time. These are probally dumb questions, I justs don't know how they work.
What's the big deal w/ Patek & AP? Why are they so coveted? I guess I just don't get it. I would take my 116619LB any day of the week over anything either of those two brands puts out. Am I missing something? Neither is as functional as my submariner.... With that being said, someone please sell me on either brand because I'm open to expanding my collection but I just need to feel good about it. Nothing says satisfaction like a PM Rolex Sub IMHO.
