IWC 378401 The Related Reviews:
- This is an awsome watch. The watch band material has a tendancy to wear at the edges (I have purchased two of these watches). I wish that satin replacement bands were mor easily available.

IWC 378401 wrist watches news:
Just received an Illinois 17jewel 2421575 16s pocket watch. Bought to repair. I'm new at this but being retired phone company splicer I got to try this stuff. The issue is shaking to start the bal wheel the secondhand isn't moving neither will the escape wheel. So I pulled the regulator cock to look at the staff for a possible missing roller jewel. I find that either the hole in the table takes a jewel which means shellac to fix OR NOT HOW THIS WATCH connects to the pallet fork. Can anyone verify that on observation of the hole in the table will take the similar size pin that sticks up from the fork? It looks like the male/female mating together of these two parts is the system and the fork is not the type that a jewel on the table must connect to it. The thing is if the pinions of the staff were properly secured how could the pin get loose from the table?Could someone have tried to repair one problem and caused another? My question is.Do I install the balance wheel by getting the fork
I was scanning eBay and came across this:cgi.ebay/LONGINES-CONQUES...3A1%7C294%3A50Look at the dial on that watch - "Conquest" is crooked for crying out loud! The SWISS MADE (besides being above the ring instead of below it) does not even follow the curve correctly. There's so much wrong, and Longines would NEVER let anything with this poor workmanship out of the plant. This seller really has gaul to say it's an original dial. That date window was one of the options in that series. Everything else appears okay on the case, but the crown is obviously a replacement (and an awkward one at that) and I'm not 100% sure of the hands.Pic from the listing (in case it gets removed or deleted after it ends):Pic from mine for comparison:
Hi guys,I am facing a dilemma over the 2, I appreciate your comments..
But it's the Speedie that spends most time on my wrist
I¡¯m flying overseas and plan to take three of my rolexes. Do I need to take receipts or proof of purchase from the US with me so that when I¡¯m reentering back in the US they don¡¯t ask to collect customs? Thanks
