Omega 2296.8000 wrist watches news:
i havent posted much on here for the last couple of months to avoid temptation.I am however have been thinking of what holiday present I want to get myself and hence plotting my next purchase. I currently have a constellation with white MOP. I really love this watch and I am thinking that I want a similar one (automatic) with colored (pink or black maybe? if it exists) and diamond marker I went to omega's website and did online researched. The only thing I could find is quartz mini pink MOP with diamond marker or automatic pink MOP with diamond bezel. Does my dream watch exist? Has anyone ever seen one and know the model number?thanks
Got these in the mail today from cheapestnatostraps, what do you think?strap2.jpgstrap3.jpgstrap4.jpg
Actually, a rare dual Hamilton day.Started out with the Palisade:However, there was a new arrival today, a Boone:Came with the plastic inner box, so fits right in with the rest of the collection.Need to find the correct seconds hand and it looks like it will need some adjustment, running about 15 sec. slow in an hour. It was listed as a redial, but the printing on the dial is very sharp (although it doesn't show in the photo). That's a plus. On the other hand, there's been some case repair done on the side. I also need to find a proper seconds hand for it. Price was cheap enough for a running 1937 Hamilton w/box, so it will be sticking around. So what's everyone else wearing on this fine, warm Monday morning?gatorcpa
G'day everyone.. Over dinner just now, my friend who is very into watches, who owns 5711/1A asked me a question which me being the rookie myself I told him don't know but I can help him ask in the forum. He asked me which is better to better buy.. He told me 5235g being the very first PP regulator plus so hard to come by from AD make this watch that much more desirable n exclusive. He then told me the 5960/1A maybe a short run of 1 or 2 years n being SS hence should be a good investment...His question really confusing for me as I never heard anything about 5960ss discontinue anytime soon.. I m waiting for the 5235g myself too. I only know I like the watch very much cos it is very special n I love that dial! Now back to the question, I wonder what do you all think? Thank you in advance n looking forward to your kind feedbacks! .. Jane
So I'm considering acquiring a 346. I've had my m ind set on a 351 because of the gold hands and titanium case. That said I could have the P2002/9 movement with seconds reset, PR on the back plus the titanium case and gold hands. However, I have many, many OEM straps that I'd want to use. I'm wondering if anyone can post pics of a 45mm Radiomir on 24mm straps vs. the 27mm straps. Also, never having tried a Radiomir on, how the the wire lugs hold up to daily wear in your opinion? Thanks and Merry Christmas!Everett
