- I think the watch is very nice for the price and looks great on my wrist. It's a watch and takes some getting used to, but very nice.

Omega 232.30.46.21.01.002 wrist watches news:
Hi Folks,I found your forum through the miracle of Google. I inherited a watch from my uncle who recently passed away. It is a Hamilton Automatic stainless steel watch with "SWISS" under the 6 (so I know it was made after 1966 in Switzerland). I found a similar watch with a black leather band. It was a K-501 (for sale) and it had little information. My watch is currently damaged and it may cost more to repair it than it's worth. However, I will probably do it anyways for sentimental reasons. Also, I really like wearing a vintage watch. It is stylish and quite unique. So, my two requests for help are:1. Can you help me identify and value my watch?2. Can you suggest a good repair shop for it?Thank you in advance for your help!Jim MinterFayetteville, GA

Next year is going to be the 40th anniversary of the Jumbo since it was launched in 1976, what do you think they will do for the occasion? have a feeling that they will try to do like AP did for the 40th of their jumbo, which means make one which will be the closest to the original model, the actual RO is almost exactly the same as the original, so I think we will see the new model without seconds hand, with the same kind of color, and I may be wrong but the 40th might be a good occasion for them to make a new clasp for the Nautilus bracelet.Even if for Patek the Nautilus is not as important as the RO for AP, it is still a big part of the Patek history and will surely be treated as such for the anniversary, can anyone tell us what they did, if they did something special, for the 10, 20 and 3O year anniversaries of the Jumbo?I think if I was planning to get a 5711 I would wait 1 year and see what happens, it would still be possible to score a 5711 through the grey dealers or order the n
tighter spec than COSC with -2/+2. For my past watches with 31XX generation movement, timekeeping over certain days deviate average of 0-2 seconds which is superb compared to rest of the brand but daily deviation around 3-4 seconds sometimes depending on rest position and power reserve. The newer movement (at least for the Sky D), is consistently 0 Sec deviation EVERY day for past 2 months, regardless of resting position. What sorcery is this??
After close to nine months of waiting and waiting, and salivating over the new watch I wanted so bad but could not obtain. I got a visit from FedEx yesterday! But what could it be????? Here it comes..................................................Welcome home to my newest adoptee. None other than the Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary SD43!I bought this sight unseen and was really worried about the size potentially being too large for me or the thickness being a problem.I can tell you that for this 7.5 wrist this watch fits PEREFECT! I'm pretty smitten with it right now but bummed that I can't wear it until I get the bracelet resized but I'll manageHere are some wrist shots for ya... And here's an out of focus (sorry) show with my other child, my Datejust IIBig thanks to DAVIDSW for facilitating this transaction. I made a trade and literally two days later the SD43 was in my hands. Could not be happier!
