Omega 2552.80 wrist watches news:
Hi guysI went over to my AD to pick up my new LV (pics and report will follow) and once everything had been sorted he asked me if I would like to have a look at a Daytona that had just come in for a customer who had been on the list for five years.Of course I accepted the offer to see the Daytona and I was stunned with the watch's petite beauty and intricacy of the dial. The watch was with black dial and although i didn't get to try the watch on because extra links would've been required because of my wrist size, i left my AD in no doubt that i would want one, and sooner than the five years waiting he quoted me if i placed a deposit today.Tell me though guys, realistically how long can I expect to wait for a Daytona if I was to lay a deposit down? Thanks in advance for everyone's input.Much appreciatedJonathan
Hi all, I have added a photo of my recently purchased Hamilton Thin O Matic. In 14K the case all around looks excellent The dial looks good for the age. I wish to bring the dial and hands and markers and all,up to great looking fully refurbished. CosmeticallyI have also included a shot of one like I have, that has had the dial and hands refinishedI want mine to look this good. Does anyone have any recommendations,as to where I could get this work done.??
Just watched the new version in theatres. I noticed Leo wore a "Tank" style timepiece with a modern looking bracelet (between 5-7 link) and was wondering if such bracelet is accurate for the time period (1922)? Many scenes it was very noticeable to the point of deliberate placement of the watch. Then again they also played hip hop and rap in many scenes so eclectic without accuracy could have been on purpose.
It appears both models are discontinued, which apparently means the black dial was an extremely short run.I always liked the white model and was even more impressed with the black one when they announced it last year, but never pulled the trigger because the white dial looses a lot of value once it leaves the store and I'm not a fan of the bracelet (although I've seen beautiful pictures of the watch with a strap). Now that they are discontinued I wonder if the black dial will better retain its value. My AD has one in stock and I'm seriously considering it. What sort of discount (if any) should one expect to obtain on this model? Thanks
So I picked up a brand new 114060 this past Monday from a local AD. I¡¯m stoked I finally have one as I¡¯ve been saving a bit for it. Here are a few iPhone shots. IMG_5577.JPGIMG_5579.JPGIMG_5580.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
