Omega 35765000 wrist watches news:
I recently took the plunge and bought an 1815 up/down (2013 model) in rose gold. I'm already fortunate enough to own a PP Calatrava, which I love, but the Lange has truly blown me away. It is such a truly beautiful timepiece in every respect and just oozes quality in every department, from the case, through to the movement and dial, to the strap and buckle. It is the perfect size, weight and thickness. Does anyone else have any experience with this model and, in particular, have any bad words to say about it? If the 1815 up/down is any indication of what Lange is capable of, this brand has a very bright future in my opinion and certainly deserves a seat at the same table as the holy trinity of Swiss brands.
Well to-morrow, Friday is my last day as a guest curator at the museum, I suspect most of you think that studying and learning so much about Horology in that time would have been my greatest satisfaction, and indeed it was an amazing learning experience. But what keeps on coming to my mind is "Teaching others we teach ourselves" That has been my greatest learning experience here at the Museum in Columbia, that and the wonderful people I met. From the staff, to the wonderful volunteers to the visitors, to the many kind citizens of Columbia that would stop and offer me a kind gesture. It brings me back to who I believe was one of your greatest Presidents - John F. Kennedy, that in his inaugural speech spoke these wonderful words "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."He also went on to say: "All this will not be finished in the first 100 days. Nor will it be finished in the first 1,000 days, nor in the life of this Administration, nor even perhaps
I know there have been threads in the past but I was hoping for some fresh feedback now that the 15300 is completely out of stock. I currently have a diver that is still under warranty and I am debating trading for either an unworn but older black daytona +cash or a rarely worn 15300 from 2007 even. I love the diver but the length is a bit much for my wrists. Any opinions would be most welcome on the comparison or trade proposition. In addition, thanks to all the posters on this forum for excellent research that kills my work productivity!
Hi all,Since starting collecting watches a good while ago, I've always favoured Rolex over other brands. Just me I guess. Anyway, over the last week or so I've had it in my head that I need a speedmaster (mainly from looking on here) and that it should probably be sapphire to avoid issues with scratches etc. That said, I've never really liked some of the omegas I've seen as they looked big and thick etc.Anyway, I tried a hesalite speedy on today and wow. A beautiful watch, and honestly I loved the hesalite. I think the quality is great and at the price point a brilliant watch.Although 42 it wears pretty small I reckon mainly due to the bezel and dial being quite small (compared to my 42mm explorer II).It's more than likely going to be an incoming assuming I can get for the right price, I just worry I have too much black - I have a black exp Ii and a black Rolex gmt 116710ln.So would appreciate your thoughts on hesalite/sapphire and whether I need something more colourful....the rolexes
My Seamaster GMT fell off my bedside table and is now running approx. + 5 mins per day. My question is...should I send it in to The Swatch Group or use an independent? It is coaxial but only 6 years old so not due for service for another 4 years. What should I do?
