Hello,I am a brand new virgin to this forum, and I could use some assistance.I just purchased from an auction a PP 2506-1 10-200 movement. The serial No. on the movement is 745xxx and the case back sn. is 690xxx which would place it at around 1949-50?What is unusual, or at least from what I have been able to determine, is that the movement lacks a lot of inscriptions such as no. of jewels, , adjustment info, etc. I will try to post a pic of it here if I can figure it out.Everything looks identical to all other photos that I have seen of the movements except that this only has "Patek Philippe Geneva and the serial No. and the movement ref. No. of 10-200.Is this a prototype or early movement?
This thought on my mind. I can¡ät see how Rolex cannot bring this piece to life again in the coke bezel and Stainless steel. Leave the Pepsi as the White Gold exclusive. Can anyone imagine how many they would sell ? I also wonder if the bezel would be interchangeable with the Batman.
