Omega 321.50.42.50.01.001 wrist watches news:
And now with the Porsche Design's signature industrial minimalist design aesthetic, it has been showed to the world. This Porsche Design diving watch is capable of handling dives up to 1000 meters. The fact that no diver would go diving to that level is a different matter here, as achieving this feat itself is a big deal. Even the looks are to die for as the watch flaunts a silver-colored stainless steel container with an anthracite-grey titanium structure for achieving striking contrast.
I think every hardcore watch nerd dreams of owning a piece hand-crafted by Seiko's Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri, located in Japan's central Nagano region. The Micro Artist Studio is a tiny subset of the Seiko manufacture that is the absolute elite unit, responsible for hand-crafting not only the incredible Eichi II, but also the Credor Minute Repeater and Sonnerie. Today, for the first time, we saw a Grand Seiko that was given the Micro Artist treatment, and it did not disappoint. 1 OF 3 First, one must understand that the craftsman in the Micro Artist Studio are top, top tier. They are the group that visits no one short of Mr. Philippe Dufour with some regularity, and the group that Mr. Dufour to this day holds in extremely high regard. This is true high-end finishing of the highest order, an until now, this has been reserved for Credor product. I'd always wondered why we never saw an insanely high-end Grand Seiko, and now we have. 2 OF 3 Eve
This was an impulse buy. The auction pic was a bit blurry and there was zero text in the listing. It looked interesting though, so I figured I'd gamble and hit the Buy-It-Now.It's a Swiss-made Philip "Caribbean" quartz, diver style, and looks to be from the 1970s or 1980s. I've looked far and wide on Google and various watch forums, but can find nothing about this era of Philip watches. No current or completed eBay listings, nothing anywhere on WUS, nada.I find references to, pictures, and reviews of more high-end Caribbean autos from the 1960s, but this appears to be more of an entry level piece. I've sent an email to the Sector group, in hopes they can provide some information. It appears to be in decent condition. I should probably replace the mineral crystal, as it has a few scratches. The (original?) French stainless steel bracelet will have to be replaced as it's a link or two too small for me to actually wear. Everything appears to be fully functional. It was easy to set the time
Some of these look pretty sharp: Welcome to BALL Watch
