- I bought the watch as a gift for my teenage daughter. It is a good size for her petite wrist, but would work on my average size wrist as well. The band looks great, and hopefully will hold up to normal wear and tear.

Omega 3582.51.00 wrist watches news:
After freshening up at the hotel we all set out for a round table event at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House....We had 13 for dinner; Chung, John, Derek, Leo, Melissa and her Mum, Chris, Myself, DG, Harry, Andrea and Ray Wu...full house and full bellys. WONDERFUL food and service...really top notch and the first of many Chung Lee authorized hangouts...After Many hours of dinner and drink a few of us went of to another Chung Lee authorized hangout....."Jimmy's" pub!!! And now for the regular watch in a drink....A triple Yachtmaster shot with gin and Tonic and just a hint of lime!!"It felt normal to take the drink with the three Yachty's into the bathroom to take a pic to get the best light source, it only got weird after someone walked in on me and looked at me strange" Chris (Slasher)...um, yeah it's a little weird...Now for the action sequence.......A very sticky Yachtmaster....Now this is when the evening got really strange. Chung and Chris go to the smoke only to come back to ex
Now that I have to many automatic wind watches, I'm considering the purchase a watchwinder. The one I like the most come for [non-sponsor link removed]. Has anyone had any experience with this company or any other thoughts? Please help me!!
Just wondering if folks are concerned about this?I mean, obvioulsy no one wants to be taken advantage of, and buying from a shop in your town can help with fears around warranty and legitimacy, but...Let's take an example where there is a Japanese market watch from, say, Seiko (Grand Seiko maybe...) and you live in the US.The watch is not offered for sale in this market. If you want the watch and have the means of purchasing it, would you? It's unlikely one will ever turn up at a local AD, so are you OK with buying internationally and having it shipped into the country? Sure, there might be duty applied before you can take it home, BUT, it's pretty unique, too, if that matters. This example is likely very real for many of us as today's globalized communications & ease of travel means many would have firends or family in locations outside the US.I understand there may/will be warranty concerns, BUT, aren't most warranties today "international"? I mean, yes you'd need to ship it back
ive been reading on here for awhile and desided to join . lots of great info . looking to learn more about watches .
G'day all,I have my Grandfathers watch that was passed down to me, it's a Longines Flagship Ultronic from the 60's I believe, I'm not really sure what it is worth at the moment, I'm not too worried as it's very sentimental to me. It is in pretty rough shape which made me think of getting it restored, the face is probably the worst part as the glass has been missing for many years. I haven't been able to find another one online anywhere, so parts might be hard to come by. Do you think I should get it restored or leave it as is in not working condition? I was also thinking of getting it all polished up, getting new glass and leaving the original old looking face to add character?DSC_0163.jpgCheers for any suggestions.
