I went to my AD last night to pick-up my other watch that came from service. I was very surprised to see that they have thier DSSD in the case and not somewhere hidden, backvaultHave you guys seen this lately? Watches that are not normally displayed are now starting to show in AD's cases to promote sales. To me, dealers are now desperate to make a sale due to economic status.

Watch for Wife
I've been searching for an automatic watch that my wife would like but I have never found one that....as she puts it is....."quite right". Well there is one that she has expressed an interest in. It's an Omega So I started looking in to all the details and found that this watch has a 2520 movement in it and Omega has recently updated the women's automatic watches to the 8520 movement. The reason I'm posting is to see if there are any concerns with this movement. I don't want to buy it and her have trouble with it. If that happened it would be the last automatic watch she would let me buy her. My goal is to get her as addicted to watches as I am! :DBezel

AD went to size my watch, and removed all stickers against my wishes. Advice?
I took my brand new BLNR with stickers (purchased 2/20) to a well known AD in SoCal to size it for my wrist.My plan was to size it and put it back into the safe to hold on to. Possibly wearing during special events, or maybe around the house when feeling saucy, but definitely keeping stickers on and definitely keeping the watch in perfect condition.I gave the watch to the person at the counter, who handed it off to the tech on duty. While she did this, I mentioned to both of them that I'd like the stickers kept on the watch, but understood if one had to be removed to get links out. We all had a good laugh about wearing a watch with stickers, and the tech took it into the back.About 5 minutes of browsing later, I got the watch back, with 2 links taken out and absolutely zero stickers left on the watch. Once I noticed, I immediately turned white. I'm going to stop the story right here and ask, if you were in my position, what would you have done here? Would you have blown up? Woul
