- Great looking watch, very chic. However, the face of the watch fogged up the first day I had it and I'm dealing with toywatch right now to get it repaired.

Omega 231.10.43.52.03.001 wrist watches news:
Hello, maybe some of you will remember me as the 19 year-old who was contemplating purchasing an expensive watch (submariner to be specific). I've still been on this site alot reading stuff I find interesting, I just don't have to much to say because i haven't had too many revelations. Anyways I found this watch that i really like and was wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts/info on it, as you guys and gals know much more about these things than I do. The most important piece of information i'm looking for is a ball-park figure on the price that i could use as a reference point. I've posted a picture and all the information given to me.images.sflmaven/2008.09.18/john/123-1.jpgCAL. 3035CASE REF. #16014SERIAL #7492XXXYEAR ca 1982
Got a gift from my wife last friday. Definitely a keeper. Some shots to share the joy, more to follow after I get my new camera. Have a great weekend.very hefty watch, makes my SD feel like an under-nourished watch.a very tall watch i must say. the SD is already at a commanding 14mm, this baby is a towering 16! My WIS opinion:After a day of wear, it doesn't really feel that heavy at all. I am wearing this baby as I am typing but it's not really noticable. maybe it's due to the balanced weight distribution but frankly, it really doesn't feel over 200gm on the wrist.I really like the design on the dial and the seahorse on the caseback. This baby is one massive monster though i wish it could have a bigger face.More pics to follow...i promise
While in St Thomas this year on a cruise I was so excited to get my first watch I made an impulse purchase and bought a Hamilton.I paid $795 for it and can't seem to find the watch in the same "configuration" anywhere online - so it must just have an unusual strap setup. Here's the pics:Close up...not my watch, but same faceSo did I overpay? I want to put the watch up for sale because I really like the Navy Regatta & ETO but have no idea what price this one would fetch...lesson learnedThey told me it retailed at $1045. Have I been had? Thanks
I've been considering purchasing a Speedmaster FOIS to pair with my Explorer. I had been considering a second SS Rolex, but between the upcoming redesigns with newer movements and the skyrocketing prices, it just doesn't make sense for me. Those of you who own one, how do you like this particular Speedy?
