Omega cal:351 wrist watches news:
Hello all. I am a new member here as well as new Omega Watch enthusiast. I just purchased a 2455.80 and couldn't be happier with it. In addition i am now shopping for a 2254.50 and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good AD. Ive considered grey market on the net, but would like the assurance it is authentic and the service guarantee. Also have heard something about 30% off around these forums, hehe. Anyway, let me know if anyone has a lead and hope to talk to you all more again. Thanks very much
I did see a used 1960s Oyster Perpetual, Ref 1024. caliber 1570 for sale in Norway. The seller says this is a gold plated watch. Does Rolex make gold plated watches? Also the seller says the ref 1024 with cal 1570 is a very rare Rolex. I got a hard time believing this. So I ask you guys is it true that it is very rare? Here is some photo of the watch.Photos by: BJ?RN The strap is not the original one. Also the papers are lost.Would anyone know about how much this watch could be worth?
Is there something negative to wind up the watch with the lever closed? Wears the crown at the top? Wear it on the lock stock roll? Will it affect the water tightness by tearing the gasket with the crown in the depressed position when I wind it?
Love the straps - although a long lead time. About 11-13 weeks. Not cheap but you can tell the guy is a real craftsman. Wonderful video on his site showing him making one strap end to end. Thanks!
I have come back to the well for more... could not resist! This one is a perfect blend of dress & sport and shiny & matte surfaces.
