Cartier Cartier 20453 wrist watches news:
Hi Everyone, Been a while since I've been on the forum. Still sure I'm going to buy a watch for my husband but now not sure which one. I had the chance to get out and look at the grey Hydroconquest and found it to be just slightly darker than the Tag's silver version on my husbands Link. I dont want to get anything that close since he already has a silver dial watch. They also had a white one (quartz chrono) on display and boy does it ever look sharp. The white is so crisp. At 1st I thought was too formal, but the chrono version with silver subdials is more sporty than dressy. There is a member here who has a white hydroconquest, sorry, dont remember who that is right now. If not too much trouble, can you post pics of your watch and if you have wrist shots that would be fantastic. For this same person, how do you find the white dial? Is it easy to view? Does the sun obliterate the face of it? What are your findings both pro and con? If the price was right, would get an
I am still trying to proceed with the resurection of my Mark II. Out of curiosity I contacted Omega for a service estimate and was directed to a web site regarding what they do and the cost. What they do:.omegawatches/customer...enance-serviceThe costs schedule: .sguscustomerservice/I was pretty much amazed by the cost of maintaining older watches. Currently I'm getting ready to ship the watch over to MY for full service. I was also wondering how other insured their watches when shipped to my for servicing and conditioning. Any input would be useful. Thanks!!!
I have a 5167 currently and looking at a BLNR. If I get the BLNR, I would not have a need for both. So, which would you rather ??
As I have said 2 will go away, the Daytona and the 233K, so thought I might share some pics with you guys, since not even my best friend knows what watches I have, he knows I have the sub and the Pam 82, but that's it, I tend to avoid wearing them in a too obvious way, so this is the only place I can talk and share my passion of watches. Have to admit cheating a little as I have included also my wife's Rolex in the lot :smoking:
In the automobile world when a car maker comes out with a new or redesigned model the publications like Motor Trend and others send out spy photographers to try and capture a glimpse of the to be released model. Does this ever happen in the watch world? If not, it would be pretty cool.
