Omega 105.003-63 wrist watches news:
Congrats to Shawn H. from Simi Valley California, the winner of the Mark Carson Individual Design Ka La watch that we?gave away on watches-dealer last month. Mark Carson also has a wonderful "Endless Summer" promotion right now that we think is too nice to pass up. For the price of one watch you get three straps, a Hawaiian Koa wood box, and a really nice Koa wood pen made by a local person in Hawaii. Certainly check it out. Also, the?September watches-dealer giveaway is for an automatic March LA.B AM1 watch.
I am buying a new mobile phone and I know they now come with 5megapixels I have been searching google to find out what mobile got the best camera and I have seen a lot of tests and it seems like it comes down to either Nokia N95 8GB or Sony Ericsson C902 Cyber-Shot.I have also seen different photos taken by these two models and I can't say that the photos were very good. They were all right and ok but not very good. But then again this might be because the person taking the photos is no good with a camera. This is why I want to ask you people. I know some of you are great photograph experts. So what mobile phone would you guys buy if you were to buy the one with the best camera? It does not have to be one of the two on the top. What ever one you people think got the best camera. Why I want a mobile with a good photo camera is so that I can take some photos of my Rolex and other watches. Does a mobile with a camera take decent photos of something as small as a Rolex watch?
I recently purchased an Illinois ROCKCLIFF with the Illinois 207 movement. The movement has a damaged barrell (drum) that holds the mainspring it is missing two teeth.Does anyone have an Illinois 207 parts movement or a spare mainspring barrell that they would like to sell. My watchmaker has searched high and low and cannot find the replacment part. thanks gcoll.gcoll615@gmail
Well, after much hunting I finally found a source for this watch. It was never released by dealers in New Zealand, and I didn't want to risk having it sent from overseas via Ebay - too expensive & too risky. Timbender graciously put me in contact with a jeweller in his area who had one in stock but unfortunately it was still a bit too expensive once shipping was factored in (happens when you live about a gazillion miles from the rest of the world).Anyway I found an internet supplier here in NZ who has them in stock occasionally so I transferred the money, waited a couple of days and received a package by courier.Well, the bubble was quickly burst when on closer inspection I found the watch had scuff marks, scratches on the case and a chipped crystal :mad:The seller had accidentally sent my brand new watch to someone who had paid considerably less for an ex-shop demo model, and sent me the other, lower quality watch. He was very apologetic (and P.O'd that he has given away a brand n
