Omega 3870.5031 wrist watches news:
What could be better than love to start the year with a bang? We're talking about true love, the kind that makes your eyes shine and your heart ache. Love is all around us with soft touches, kind messages and gazing deep into each other's' eyes. The new Swatch comes straight from the heart. If Romeo wanted to prove his love to Juliet today, he'd give her the Tender Present timepiece. It wears its quartz heart on its sleeve with parts in a range of rosy tones from baby pink and purple to fuchsia all rimmed by a wide silver chapter ring. Two metallic baton-shape hands track the hours and minutes whilst a central seconds hand with a heart-shape counterweight glides above. A big red heart beats in the 34mm white plastic case's openwork dial at 8 o' clock. Turn the strap over to read the sweet "handle with care" instructions. Price: 75 CHF. Sharmila Bertin
The one with the aviator watch comparison article. There were numerous watches in it and .........the Speedmaster wasn't It is clearly THE ONE that has been flight proven.Maybe they thought it would run away with the prize. .
Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago as a birthday present to myself. I have been looking around for a while for an Omega and this particular model caught my eye especially with all the talk about it on this forum. I stroll into my local AD to window shop a little and what do I see! BNIB and waiting for a new home. Apparently someone ordered it couldn't wait for it to show up and bought something else. Walked out with it 10 minutes later. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Sorry all I have are crappy cell phone pics:Getting along with a friend's Rolex:
I always kinda liked this watch, but it ran fast.....like, oh, gained 6 hours a day !.........But my great watch guy just worked his magic on it and voila ! it keeps perfect time now............this is a really small, man's watch....only 25mm across, excluding the crown, and 34mm lug tip to lug tip.....It just so happened that I had this scissors type expansion band in very good condition as far as wear goes, but so comfortable to wear compared to the sturdy Spiedel stretchy metal type.....when it's on my wrist, it isn't stretched out at all, so it's a short band too....my wrist isn't all that big..........and I sorta like the way the lugs are slightly asquew..( don't know how to spell that ) ......and 2-toned dials are so cool looking ..........oh, and it was made in 1940.....
New to the forum and looking to start my collection by acquiring a pre-owned 5167 SS on tropical based on all the positive feedback. Can someone tell me what would be either a competitive or acceptable price or price range to stay in for a pre-owned piece ? I don't want to overpay obviously. Thanks in advance.
