Needing some help from Omega enthusiasts
I recently began the search for a new watch as I will be sending my Sub in for service and also as a reward for having a great quarter. I had three watches in mind and IĄ¯ve decided that out of the three, I would go for the Speedmaster. I came across a piece that I really liked, mainly because it had some gold on it. I havenĄ¯t found any information about a model like this being made because IĄ¯m not really sure what to look for. Undecided between business casual watches
Hello,I am pretty new around these parts, but have been bitten by the watch bug pretty hard. I currently have an Omega PO 8500 as my daily beater. I wanted something that would withstand my semi-rough ways, and the PO was perfect. It goes really well with my daily attire, which is jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers. I'd say I dress like this 95% of the time. Now I am in the market for something that is a little less casual. I very rarely dress full blown formal, so business casual is what I am aiming for. So less, day at the beach and more Easter dinner with the whole family. My current favorites (other than the impossible to find Silver Snoopy Speedmaster) are the Omega Grey side of the Moon and the Rolex GMT II 116710ln (ceramic). I like the BLNR, but I think I would get tired of it eventually (plus I love the green hand on the LN). Sub 16610 or 116610
I am in the market for a submariner. This is my grail watch. The Submariner has always been my ultimate men's watch. Looks great with surf trunks or a suit. Only issue I'm having is ceramic or classic sub. I love both. I feel if I go with the 16610 I will always regret not getting the most recent release. There's a $1,000 difference between the two. I would get pre-owned due to the price. I'm leaning toward the classic due to the durability of the bezel insert. Scared I may crack the ceramic bezel knocking it into something. Help me decide.
