- Gave this to our son for Christmas to help him dress upand he loves it. It is the type of wach he can wear anywhere his job takes him. He writes for a local paper and he can dress it up or down and always look good.

Ok so my question is I've been looking at the eco drive dive watches especially the eco ziller sorry if I spelt that wrong, anyway I would love to get my hand's on the automatic ziller but there are two small problem's one can never find them, and two can't afford it .So where and how much could I be looking at too spend on the eco-ziller. P.S. the only place I've seen them was at JCPenny for around $350.00.00 is that a good deal or price.
New member here. I have had the watch bug since I was a kid and remember my mom buying my dad a beautiful blue dial seiko automatic that was an expensive christmas gift, at least in our house. A couple of years ago I picked up a few estate watches, ebay, flea market finds etc. This past year I have been buying, selling, blasting, buffing everything I can get my hands on!OK so I pieced this together from parts. details below. What do you think?I am quite happyCase - tauchmeister from the bayReplace the Chinese movement with a Miyota 8215 (exact size, exact stem match)Carbon fiber sticker from auto parts storeCitizen Dive HandsOriginal sweep hand from Tauchmeister"Prestige" band from target 20R with brushed buckle
Is the deployant the same size on the 42 strap and the 45 strap? Or are there two different size deployants? Thanks!
Looking to source this Exp 2 from a private seller in person tomorrow. Supposed to be a Z serial, hoping i get lucky with a 3186 under the hood but not too hung up if I don't. Anyway, everything looked good, equipped with SEL's which also checks out with the serial and no holes case. Until I noticed the swiss T < 25 dial on the bottom. This would be an anomaly in my eyes, as we know T was out of dials as of the 90s, and no holes cases of course started going in watches after 2003 or so. He claims its been to RSC and has paperwork etc, that dial just gets me and does not make sense. Could the dial be swapped? Like some sort of franken situation. I'll probably steer clear but interested in hearing thoughts. Am I crazy and seeing things? My D serial polar dial just says swiss made as most/all do. Did some research cant seem to find anything. Opinions greatly appreciated. Hopefully the picture is clear.
