Omega Omega 9575 wrist watches news:
Hello everybody, I am Jonathan from Belgium and new to this forum.Last week I found a watch in an old briefcase of my grandfather. Curious to find out some information about the watch I found this forum.I have no experience and no knowledge about watches, but I would love to have some information and to know what you think about the watch. I also don't have certainty if its genuine. Can you help me?The watch is a Omega Costelletion 25 Rubis,On the back of the watch I read - 18k; 0,750; SWISSMADE; 1976;It has some scratches on the back and on the side. (Third picture)I added some pictures, this might get more relevant to you.photo-2.jpgphoto-1.jpgphoto.jpgI thank you for the help, if you need more pictures or information. Ask me!!Thank you!!Jonathan
The USPS brought me a present today - this Elgin 761 auto, complete with its case . I had the seller take a photo with the caseback off, so I know it's a 761 movement inside. The dial, which appears to have some sort of luminous material on the numbers and part of the hands, doesn't look like the typical 760 or 761 dial. No "db" and no "American Made"/"Made in America". I'm curious what the Elgin experts here think - redial? rare dial? something else? 761-1.jpg761-2.jpg761-3.jpg761-4.jpg
I love the 3717, but alas - my budget is more of the Hamilton Field Chrono Auto. I think this is a decent substitute, at least in my case. And those of you that have watched my posts know that I have a couple of Hamiltons and really like them. So, my question:In keeping with the spirit of the IWC 3717, but in the new and used price range of the Hamilton - any suggestions? Some criteria may be in order:Not a pure homage watchAutomatic movementI do like the date (and would like the day)Some character consistent with "its" brand - not a rip off of the IWC brandingLume is not that importantLeather strap (bracelet option is fine)SS CaseAny thoughts? Any brands out there I haven't researched yet? Thanks!B
I am blessed and fortunate to be the new owner of a brand new, 2500D, Planet Ocean 2201.50.I honestly never thought I would find a brand new one with a 3-yr Omega warranty after a few years of this version being discontinued.I am very thankful!
