- I got one in clear, and it looks awesome. I have normal-sized female hands, and I had a bit of trouble getting the watch on at first, until I realized my skin was too dry and put some lotion on. Otherwise, no complaints!

For its contribution to this year’s upcoming Only Watch auction of unique timepieces, Bell & Ross has created a bronze-cased version of its BR 01 Tourbillon, which also features a hand-engraved Jolly Roger image on its dial. Scroll down to read more on this one-of-a-kind watch that blends materials from the golden age of piracy with a modern, steampunk aesthetic. The Bell & Ross BR 01 Skull Bronze Tourbillon features a 46-mm square case, made of aged bronze and highlighted by a skull-and-crossbones-shaped bezel secured by four screws. Inside the borders of the bezel (itself a motif inspired by pirate flags) a hand-engraved Jolly Roger skull made of solid 18k gold rises from the relief, “wet-look” honeycombed dial, made from a copper base with black projection. Directly beneath the 3D piratical image sits the aperture for a flying tourbillon, in a rose-gold cage and bearing Bell & Ross’s ampersand logo (see picture below), whose rotation ticks off the
Lovely isn't it? Too bad it is only for women. And if you are a woman, then too bad you most likely cannot afford it. This is one of DeLaneau's Rectangular Dome watches. Here in its "Green Sunrays" variant with a green jade and mother-of-pearl face. Movement is the DL 1608 automatic with jumping hours and jumping minutes. Think about the very small club of watches that offer that. Price is 125,000 Swiss Francs.See my full article on the DeLaneau Rectangular Dome Green Sunrays watch here at Haute Living.
To all Members and Friends of WATCH TALK FORUMS:For the past couple of months, I've been telling you about the coming site software upgrade and redesign. If you're new to WATCH TALK FORUMS, here's a link to the last update I posted last month which shows some preliminary screen shots of the new design. There have been a few setbacks and delays (almost expected with a project of this scope), but I'm pleased to report we're almost ready to move forward a four-phase upgrade schedule over the next 30 days. The week of March 1st, we'll be moving forward with the the first phase of our upgrade, which will move WATCH TALK FORUMS to the new vBulletin 4.0 software environment (we currently run vBulletin 3.8). The site will be down for approximately 2 hours during this time. I will send notifications in both PM and email when we are certain of the day and time this week on which we'll bring WTF down for the upgrade. Right now, we're targeting the evening of Wednesday, March 3rd for the upgra
What can you tell me about this $5 estate sale find? My guess is that it is a plated mid to late 60s watch. It is a mechanical wind working watch in good condition. The best part, my daughter found it and she loves it without and knowledge of its pedigree or value. Thoughts?
Hi there, just wondered what sort of price an unworn random number 16610lv would go for these days?
