Oris 774-7699-4134FSGR wrist watches news:
Got a call from an AD last week. Seems their shop in DE is closing (in bankruptcy) so they are liquidating everything. They have a bunch of watches and the minmum discount is 20% (professionals) and goes up to 35% (DJs, DDs and such). Since I had my eye on a watch for two years now, I took the opportunity to snag a white Explorer II for a cool 30% off. It is new/old stock being a Z series without the newest features, but it was at a price I couldn't refuse. And with no sales tax in DE, I think I made a great purchase. Anyone near DE should take the opportunity to swing in and check out what's left since they plan on discounting even further as their closing date approaches. Now I only have one problem....and maybe you guys can help. I can't wear the watch until I tell my wife I bought yet another one. She said I could buy another, but she had that passive/aggressive tone that suggests "I dare you." And I'm dying to get the watch on. It's just torture. Any suggestions on how
I was wondering if any one can help me out. This may sound stupid, I have a case with exhibition back and I want to put a dial diameter of 28.5. The inside of the case is 29.9. Like I know it fit but what to do with the excess space. Also the depth is 9mm. The height of the movement to the top center is 4.5 for a Skelton and 5.45 for the auto. The movements areDg2813 and 2650G being the Skelton movement.Assistance is appreciated
Hi everyone!I'm a new user and I just want to say hi to everybody in the forum. I'm not a guru or expert in watches, but I love watches and like to share with people who have the same hobbies!!
Apologies if this has been posted before, but this is a nice little history of the popular movement:Download PDF from WatchBizz.comAnyway, at the end of the file it says that in 2010, ETA will stop selling movement kits:
