Oris 695 7513 60 84 LS/587 7506 65 84 LS/647 7512 50 84 LS wrist watches news:
I was at the store today and saw a big bank of watches for $14 and $19 bucks. And I saw a big kiosk of Timex and Casio watches for 20-30 bucks. All quartz, of course. Some had leather bands and some had metal bracelets. But they all looked very chintzy to me. I tried to understand what it is exactly that looks cheap. Why is it some watches look expensive and some cheap?I thought about a non-HOG and how they see things. Does a non WIS or non HOG see the difference even if they are unfamiliar with our brands? And, if they CAN tell a difference up close, can they tell from a distance - say 10 or 15 feet?CAN A GOOD HOG (HOROLOGICALLY OBSESSED GUY) EVEN TELL EXPENSIVE FROM CHEAP AT TEN FEET?Does a Nomos or Mondaine or Sowa look like Timex to most folks? Hey guys any help and comments would be greatly appreciated. My question is: Does anyone have a general idea of the power reserve on a full wind a 1954 Caliber 266 movement has? It has been serviced within the last year. I will enclose a picture of the movement also. Thanks again for your responses. Regards Jason. omega movement.jpg

In every ¡°SS Watches are Nowhere to be Found¡± thread, I feel like at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the posters have a similar response; ¡°just wait until 2018.¡±Their playbook has been excellent, they¡¯ve created more demand than ever and possibly the ultimate luxury brand on Earth, can anyone who feels that the display cases will be filled to brim in 2018 explain why they feel that way?I¡¯m in the boat that says they¡¯re going to let demand exceed supply again.A) It has worked like magic for themB) Exceeding demand will then curb itC) Exclusivity fuels demand
