.......I decided to give my watch a facelift.Went to the local auto part store to get the material, (Platinum paint) and a few Hr's later it looks like this.Am I the first to have a platinum sub..??
I've recently been quite enamored with the Hamilton H71556737 Khaki 42mm (Model #H71556737) and while searching the web I was having difficulty finding it and then I started finding sites that said"THIS MODEL HAS EITHER BEEN RETIRED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR IS UNAVAILABLE"I was going to post asking any owners to sound off as to whether or not they liked it or not but after doing a search of the WTF I didn't see many posts about it. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing too many examples on the daily Wrist Checks either. Which makes me think it wasn't a very popular model and maybe that's why it's being discontinued. Or is it?To make a long story longer.does anyone own this watch? Would you recommend it? Is it well made? Is it accurate? Does it feel good on your wrist? Is it sturdy or is just not a very good watch?I've always loved Hamiltons and I'd love to hear some Pros and Cons before I take the time to go check one out at an AD.Thanks :-)
I watched a Marx brothers movie from 1946 on Netflix last night. They had a wrist shot of a mans wrist watch. The first letter or letters were obscurred by the minute hand. The last four letters of the brand ended in OMIS. Anyone know what brand this is? (it wasn't Oris).
With the price of pre-ceramic Daytonas going up, do you think 79280 non-Tiger full set watches will also follow the trend, but obviously in smaller increments? Or there never was a correlation between Rolex and Tudor prices in the past?
