Cartier drives home its iconic design codes in the Drive de Cartier, its new shaped men¡¯s collection, introduced this week at SIHH 2016 in Geneva. The cushion-shaped case of the Drive de Cartier is the latest creation designed to reinvigorate the brand¡¯s longstanding tradition of shaped watches. I just pulled the trigger on another of these rare Orients! They're amazing, and so amazingly built! Solid end links, thick and massive bracelet, plus...interchangeability with Orient custom leather straps! reliability AP vs Rolex
I really hate these threads so I'm cringing as I write this but this is something that is in my mind. I received my annual bonus this year and lets just say Alot more After holding off for over a year I am going to have the opportunity to take the first step and rewarding myself with my first fully self funded luxury watch. This watch will be my new daily wearer and I have two targets in mind a blue dialed RO or a Rolex blue stick dial DJ2 with smooth bezel. Besides all of the differences which I think I am aware of my question is will the AP have the same reliability to daily wear. While I have a pretty laid back desk job I would say I like to wear my watch care free. So here is my question... If reliability was the only factor for a daily wearer do you see any difference between Rolex and AP?

Forged Carbon Diver and its beautiful cousin
I have been going back and forth for awhile on my next AP purchase. I narrowed it to 2 different APs - Diver and Royal Oak, both were missing in my collection, since all my APs are ROO chronographs. It was very hard to pick between SS and FC diver. I love the SS Diver, especially on a bracelet but FC won this time. Here they are, my Christmas presents I will post better pictures once I have a chance to make them in daylight
