To celebrate all the stories we've heard, the watches we've seen, and the cheese knives made legendary, we are running every single episode of Talking Watches in a single post, from episode one with John Mayer, all the way to episode eight with Fabrizio Sotti. That is over one hour and ten minutes worth of Talking Watches, each as good as the next. Sometimes dreams come true!I was planing for some time to see Baselworld and wanted to catch two birds with one stone (meaning, to see the Longines Museum at the same time). My thought was to go this year to Switzerland, arrive on Friday and see the Longines Museum, then stay overnight in Basel and see Baselworld on Saturday. I had even booked the visit at the museum but for some reasons I had to cancel my trip.Recently the opportunity arose again and I jumped at the chance. I had to travel to Switzerland for business for a few days, so I contacted Longines and asked if it's possible to book an appointment for a visit. As always, Ms. Bochud from Longines Brand Heritage was very friendly and said that they would be happy to show me the museum. I also said that I would like to have my watches analyzed and have a Certificate of Authenticity issued and asked whether this could be done on the same day, during my visit. THe answer was positive as well, however the certificates will be sent to
Just wondering if they both have same black/blue dials?I have seen the 15400's and both dials are mesmerising, however I am not sure if the 15300 also has that shine effect.I know the 15300 is a flat white, whereas the 15400 isn't.Thanks for the help guys!
Thought Id put up some pics of my beloved Steelfish. I love the blue dial and how it changes from turquoise to petrol to navy to grey depending on the light. Hope you like them.
I have been in search of the right spring bar removal tool for a speedmaster pro. the watch does not have lug holes and it appears that the spring bar is only accessable from the back. I have tried various tools and have seen other posts, but when I search further, it doesnt seem like there right tool is out there. The usual spring bar tools dont work. I have found the forks to be too large. any help would be appreciated.
