Tachometer scale: What do those numbers mean?
Newbie alertThink I've got the basics of how to use my new (vintage) chronograph. Think stopwatch.But could someone walk me through the markings on the outer dial? The first one appears to be 1000, between the 3- and 4-minute positions. After that, not evenly spaced, to 80 at the 9 o'clock position, then ending at 60 for the top of the dial.Walk slowly, please. Regretfully: More thoughts on Ref 5320G
Only a few short weeks ago we all saw the release of the perpetual calendar 5320G and my first reaction was not good! In fact you may have read about my initial gut reaction here... Now, I'm suddenly starting to come around to the overall look of the watch.
