Not a watch guys, but still an Omega. (Hope thats OK)Today my beautiful, wonderful, amazing wife went into London and popped to the Omega Boutique on Old Bond Street and picked me up a little present.Unfortunately they only had the bracelet in 7" or 8" (picked up the 7") and so it is slightly too small (but its the thought that counts). Omega have said they will order the 7.5" version in for me and my wife will return the one she purchased this Monday. It will take a few weeks, but I just thought I would post some pics up as the packaging was so nice (ain't I just a big girl!!)
Thought I would post a few pics of how the patina on my Bronze Zenton B42 is progressing.Just got a new strap which I think suits it very well. Just waiting on my bronze buckle then it will be perfect. What it looked like 4 months agoThis morning
Hey guys and gals,Thanks for all the great input on my first question thread, now I'm back for more! I still desperately want a Speedmaster but I just can't justify the prices I can find, so I have another round of questions:1. A lot of people at my work (more senior then I) wear Omegas/Rolexes. Is wearing a Seiko or other similar "budget" watch brand that resembles the expensive watches they can afford likely to alienate/provoke them, or am I overanalyzing? I'm specifically comparing the Speedmaster a manager wears to the Seiko black-on-black Chrono. 2. If I chose to go budget, what's the marginal difference between a Seiko, an Invicta, and a Citizen? My impression is that Seiko is unpretentious, Invicta is conciously a tribute brand, and Citizen is decent independent quality, is that all ffair? Thanks for your continued help (and let me know if you want to sell a timemaster ;) )RHoratio
Hi guys,To mix things up, please post your Pateks that aren't Nautilus or Aquanaut. Just to spice things up around here.
