Speedy strap question
I have a Speedmaster on a custom ordered strap from Camille Forne. It's a beautiful medium-brown croc strap with very the convienent quick release lug pins. One of the biggest reasons I ordered a custom strap is because I have a thin, 6 1/2" wrist and I could not find a short strap to fit me correctly. The only thing keeping me from ordering another just like it is the price, something like $250. Can members here suggest where I can find a good selection of short croc straps. Is it real ,Racine / gallet ? Or just a Franken watch.
Here is my believed racine gallet .I say believed due to be sceptical over the movement although I find it had to believe that some one would fake a gallet due to it being little known. Enicar, racines sister brand are constantly being faked or doctored by the Indians.2, the moment is practically identical all except for the shapes of the jewels to that of the moving on my caravelle of similar vintage. 5980 Opinion Need
Dear Friends,Ever since I sold my 5980 last year I have regretted by decision! I have now got the opportunity to once again add one to my small collection. However, there is a small dilemma (a good one to have). I have a chance to pick up a Brand new 5980 Blue Dial or a 5980R on a leather. The difference between the two being only $5K USD! I am not sure which way to go? What are your thoughts in terms of a better value here?
