UK watch retailer, The Watch Gallery has recently introduced its latest limited edition partnership, this time with Hublot. Following successful TWG limited edition pieces from brands like Zenith and Bremont, Hublot has produced two limited Classic Fusion models, a chronograph and an automatic three hander. Both models will feature the TWG signature blue on their seconds hands as well as the inclusion of blue tinted case back sapphire crystals. In addition to this distinctive use of color, this is also the first time that Hublot has produced 45mm Classic Fusion models in titanium with ceramic bezels.Both of the TWG and Hublot models measure 45mm across and feature satin-finished titanium cases, black ceramic bezels and anti-reflective sapphire crystals up front. Meeting the person and seeing the watch first. I'm about to meet a man near Birmingham in the omega dealer to verify the 2nd watch. Have a chance to buy a feb 2014 for ¡ê1600 or by a new one off him via vouchers for ¡ê2300.Which one would you go for ?

Was that an Omega Speedmaster GMT of some variety on the lead actor in the new suspense/drama film State of Play? Sure looked like a Speedmaster of some variety on a leather strap.

ETA 6497 vs P.3000
Well, it's only a matter of time before the venerable 6497 is retired and replaced by the P.3000 in-house movement (or something like it). It's still too early to tell what impact it'll have on the desirability of the old 6497 based watches but would you still want an old 6497 driven PAM vs a newer model?
